Academic biography
University professor with a PhD and a master’s degree in Letters from USP and postdoctoral research at UnB and Fiocruz. Here is the path, from the countryside of São Paulo to the public university in Goiás.
Biography
My full name is Marcos Rogério Martins Costa. I was born in Birigui, in the countryside of São Paulo state, a city known as the Pérola do Noroeste (Pearl of the Northwest).
My path is interdisciplinary and runs through Letters, Education, Linguistics and technologies applied to the production of knowledge.
I am a tenured professor at Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG), on an exclusive full-time contract, at Câmpus Nordeste, Sede Formosa. There I work in Linguistics, Portuguese Language and teaching in the Letters program.
Here I present my public work from the perspective of teaching and research.

Areas of interest and research
Teaching, outreach and science communication
I carry out teaching and research in the Language Sciences, in educational methodologies and in the critical use of artificial intelligence.
This includes talks, projects and initiatives that share academic knowledge. The Lattes CV lists supervisions, technical production, participation in committees and projects.
Recognition
My CV records memberships in literary academies, among them the Academia Contemporânea de Letras and the Academia Nacional de Ciências, Letras e Artes, as well as literary recognition and honorary distinctions throughout my career.

Previous experience, 2020 to 2026
I was a co-founder of Escrita com Ciência from 2020 to 2026, a stage that is part of my history of innovation and of scientific training initiatives.
